The reason being, as the head of the client is wet with oil, a warm room temperature ensures that he does not catch cold during the treatment or else the experience would turn unpleasant for him.

Choosing Proper Liquid:

Taking advice from a trained therapist or Ayurveda practitioner is important as the Shirodhara oil is needed to be chosen with caution depending on one’s constitution and the climate.
