"Love of beauty is taste. The creation of beauty is art."

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Ayurveda helps you maintain the art that you create over time. It's considered as one of the oldest sciences of health and medicine. Health includes cosmetic aspects as well. The concept of beauty and cosmetics is as old as mankind and civilisation which is made evident by the ancient depictions of the Ajanta and Ellora caves. The Aryan age has witnessed the use of Chandan (Sandalwood), Saffron, Turmeric, Chlorophyll green, Henna for beautification.

Ayurvedic beauty care includes scalp and hair care treatments, face care treatments, eye care treatments, head and foot care treatments and body treatments. We're genuinely attracted to people with clear skin and a glowing complexion because it's a sign of good health. Ayurveda believes that the cause of dry, rough skin is accumulation of VATA in the body, which predominates in fall and early winter. Other than the seasonal change, vata can also show up in stressed conditions or a vata inducing climate and vata disturbing diet.

The first step to skin care is finding your skin type.

Vata skin is usually dry, thin, delicate; extremely vulnerable to dry windy weather. It may age fast and become rough or flaky. In order to nourish and rehydrate the skin, oils or herbs need to be included to avoid wrinkles and premature ageing. To ensure health and beauty, people with vata skin should consume warm, unctuous foods and favor the sweet, sour and salty tastes to balance the dry, rough dosha.

Pitta skin requires both cooling and nurturing. People with pitta skin need to avoid hot spicy and fried food that add heat to an already fiery constitution. Also, use skin products that provide resistance to the sun

Kapha skin is prone to accumulate toxins under the skin because it’s oily and thick. People with this skin type need to detoxify on a regular basis- both internally (through bitter astringent and pungent tastes) and externally (exfoliation and warm oil massages).

Mental, Physical and Emotional; any type of stress affects the skin in different ways.

Apart from the aforementioned, another crucial factor that contributes to a healthy appearance is the clean bowel. A mild amount of Trifla and lots of water is recommended to flush out the impurities from the body

Ayurveda has been propagating the mantra “beauty comes from within” in all appropriation; since ages. Don’t’ wait any longer. Take a small step to your beauty care and get in touch with us to get the best suited package for you.
